About the event

Join ‘Human Swan’ and UN Ambassador Sacha Dench for a series of exciting short stories and images from her expeditions looking at the world through the eyes of migrating birds and other animals. Find out how James Bond helped get the first big bold idea off the ground and why we need an MI5 for Nature.

Followed by a conversation with Anna Abdelnoor, founder of Isla, on:

  • what Sacha has learned flying with migratory birds about life, science, creativity and resilience,
  • the similarities between the explorer mentality and that of the entrepreneur
  • her next expeditions,
  • how conservation could benefit from entrepreneurial collaboration and vice versa,
  • why she is creating an “MI5 for Nature”, and how you can help.

Followed by an interactive conversation and brainstorm with the audience about how businesses could benefit from engagement with conservation and how we can shift from small change to systems change for the natural world, at speed and with joy.
